Painted styleguides of the Surf’s Up characters, which Robert Chang did for Sony Pictures. These images were used to keep the movie’s promotional and merchandising campaigns consistent.

I emphasize that these are paintings, not 3D renderings. Robert took a simple 3D still as his source, sketched the form and then painted over them. Truly incredible work, posted here with permission from Robert.
